why use a download script that depends on popups that can be blocked by popup blockers?

Ah I’m glad you ask. And don’t worry you’re not such a dumbass.
usability may be your friend but I didn’t quite write that script with usability in mind. That’s something for a later date. That is, if I ever find the time. I just like to fiddle around and modify stuff every now and until I get a better idea and fiddle around some more.
If it bothers you so much, don’t download it. use the online viewer instead. no popups there.
although, if you intend to complain about things, you should realise that you are in the very wrong place to even consider doing any of that. I don’t scanlate for your pleasure. if you like reading the scans we make that’s fine by me. if not, that’s your loss.
as I already explained, the popup is a consequence of using a javascript countdown, which I won’t get rid of since I happen to find it to be very nifty. though I’m thinking of using captcha verifications to replace the current more concealed one.
